Foot tingling/pain when walking

My feet have been tingling for months. It was not constant. It would happen when I would sit on them(my feet) while giving my kids a bath or getting up from playing with them, or sitting with my legs crossed. Some days my feet hurt so bad when I walk that I must wear shoes. My feet do have tingle sensations when I remove my shoes and am at rest. A lot of people (friends) have said it sounds like plantar facsitis(sp?) but I am currently awaiting consult with my neurologist. My question is, do people with PF have foot pain/tingling even when at rest or just when you walk?

Not really, but it can happen. Read my section on "tarsal tunnel" and you will see the connection between plantar fasciitis and tingling.
Plantar fasciitis is painful; it alone does not manifest itself as tingling.
