glass is in my foot

i have a piece of glass in my foot and it has been there for about 4 months or longer and now there is a knot in my foot and it hurts bad

Hi,
It sounds like you may be developing a foreign body reaction to the glass which is what the body does in an effort to "wall" off the glass. This is not good.
Aside from the fact that it hurts, there is a good chance it will get infected, or may already be infected.
You need to get yourself to a doctor and have the glass removed.
