itchy sore feet

I have recently been experiencing severe itching on the bottom of my feet followed by sharp stabbing pain in the bottom of the feet. It is an itch that I can't get rid of by scratching no matter how much I scratch! Then the sharp stabbing pain follows for a few minutes or hours. It varies. Tracey Hi Tracey, Does the skin appear abnormal at all, like a rash? If not the sensation you are experiencing may have a neurological origin.
