large growing lump on instep of foot

My husband has a lump which is growing and is now about size of nickel on the bottom of my foot. Should he be concerned? I have asked him to get it checked and he hasn't.
It isn't flooting but seems to be attached.
Please let me know if this is an immedite concern. Thank you

Hi,
In general, any suspicious growth should be checked by a doctor to make sure it is nothing serious. Tell your husband to make an appointment with your doctor.

That is Ledderhose disease. I have it in both feet. I also have dupyutrens (spelling) in one hand. You should not do anything until you have pain, is what I've been told by more than one specialist.
