I also was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis
by: Anonymous

I was also diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. After a couple steroid injections (painful but very helpful) and physical therapy of stretching and iontophoresis it took me about two years to get rid of this condition. My orthopedic surgeon that I saw suggested I could get an expensive orthotic for my shoe but said over-the-counter orthotics are just as helpful and less expensive. I also lost some weight which greatly contributed to getting rid of this condition. Do not think it is going to go away over night it is a long process but when finally gone oh how I appreciate good feeling feet again.
