I have been suffering from this pain for over 3 years.At first I was tested for Lyme disease but that was not it. I've been tested for arthritis and tested negative. My CK levels were elevated but there was no trama done. It hurts the worse when I get up. If I stand up from a chair or from bed I can't put weight on it for some time.

Hi John,
First read my section on heel pain and then go see a podiatrist. I cannot believe someone tested you for Lyme disease; you have classic heel spur/plantar fasciitis symptoms.

Of course someone tested you for lyme. Foot pain (similar to fascitis) is a classic lyme symptom. Go to lymenet.org for more info. I have lyme and had the same pain you did for about a year. Lyme testing isnt easy. The regualr lyme blood test has pretty much little to no value.
