warm sensation on bottom of left foot

For the last few week I have been ramdomly getting a warm sensation on the bottom of my left foot. Is this something common or is there something I need to know about to go see a doctor?

Thanks for any help,
Terri

Hi Terri,
The warm sensation you mention could be from a number of different things and I do not have enough information on you to even venture a guess.
You can give it a bit more time to see if the symptoms subside on their own. If however, they become more frequent or pronounced then I would seek medical care to find out what the underlying cause is.

warm foot

The outside of my left foot has had a warm sensation for the past week or so. It usually happens when I stand up or bend over and stand back up. It does feel like someone pours warm water of that part of my foot. Doesn't hurt at all...it actually feels good. No idea what causes it.

any answers yet?

I am experiencing the same spasmodic warmth on the bottom outside of my right foot, for about 10 days now and there is no common factor of when it happens. It only lasts a few seconds, is not painful at all. It has coincided with severe neck pain which someone else mentioned. You wouldn't think that was related at all. I would be very interested to hear of outcomes from other people here thanks.

I have been getting a warm sensation on the bottom of my left foot also. It feels like I stepped in warm water. I thought it was too silly to mention but now I know others experience the same thing. I would also like to know what this is.
