Laser treatment for nail fungus
by Marc Mitnick DPM
Do you have yellowing on your toe nail or any kind of white little dots, any concern for discoloration? You may have fungus. It's very, very common. It's not a hygiene issue at all so don't please think of it as that. We have lot's of patients embarrassed to come in to treat it. But honestly the longer you wait, the worse it's going to get. It can spread and the nail can get get thicker and thicker throughout the years. And that can cause a lot of pain. So, one thing we offer is laser. It's very simple, painless. You'll come in one visit
a month for three months.
It's a perfect time now to go ahead and get your appointments scheduled because summer is right around the corner. Typically, it takes about year for your nail to grow out. However, if you have a milder case, that laser may work just in time to get you ready for your flip-flops. So come on in, check us out.
Keep in mind there are other ways to treat nail fungus, but they tend to be less effective and can have side effects
